Transport Canada recently released the following recall of Thor Motor Coach motor homes.
Advisory details
On certain Thor brand motorhomes, the electrical motor for the vehicle’s awning can become damaged, allowing the awning to unfurl unexpectedly and without warning.
As a result of this defect, the awning could become dislodged and strike another vehicle, a stationary object, or a bystander. This can cause substantial property damage and personal injury to those in the vicinity.
