Prior to joining Cariati Law as a lawyer, Ilan Liebner articled at the firm.

Ilan was born and raised in London, England, before moving to Canada. Ilan completed his Bachelor’s degree at Carleton University in politics, graduating with distinction. Ilan then interned at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government before continuing studies in history at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Ilan attended law school at the University of Ottawa (2012-2015), graduating with distinction, before joining Cariati Law.

Ilan has represented clients before the Superior Court of Justice. Ilan’s focus is on working tirelessly to get the best result for the client.

Prior to entering law, Ilan taught history at a Toronto-area private school. Ilan has a keen interest in legal history, and brings this background to his practice. Outside of law, Ilan enjoys playing and watching soccer.
